CONDITIONS FOR THE USE OF THE DRYVE APP, PLATFORM, OR WEBSITE.
Dryve
cares about your privacy and is committed to protecting it. We think it is
important to inform you about how and where your information is used. This
policy outlines how we gather, use, process, manage, disclose, and store your
information that is collected through our Platform and communicated with us or other Users. This
Privacy Policy applies to all Users in Egypt who make use of Dryve’s Services.
Dryve may be required to change this policy from time to time. Users will be
duly notified of such changes.

INFORMATION
COLLECTED
We collect your information for the sake of providing
a personalized and efficient Service. This information is also used to
communicate directly with you. Dryve collects data from Users directly through
the App and/or Website. The information gathered can be categorized as follows:
I.
Contact and Personal
Information
Users,
throughout their registration process provide us with information about
themselves. This includes their names, date of birth, address, e-mail
addresses, phone numbers, national identification, driving license number,
photographs, documents relating to Personal Insurance Coverage and other information
Dryve might require of applicants from time to time to set up a User account.
User’s
data is consensually provided to Dryve. Relevant information cannot be obtained
otherwise. The mechanisms of consent are provided in clear language. By accepting
the Terms, Users are thereby deemed to have consented to the Privacy Policy.
II.
Payment Information
Additional
payment related information may be collect from Users in order to provide you
with and accept payment for the Services. This information is stored with third
party payment providers or digital payment companies, like Fawry and Accept. As
a merchant to the Dryve account, Dryve cannot access this information. You
hereby authorize Dryve to uses this information in connection with potential or
actual transactions. For your protection and to decrease the risk of security
fraud, we urge that you do not give your card information to any third party or
via any other method than that currently available on the App. Where we request
that you withhold certain identifiable information from us, like obscuring
certain digits in your payment card number, please do so.
III.
Trip and Ryde History
Dryve
collects information on published, Booked, and Requested Vehicles such as the
information found in the Dryve Rental Form, reviews and uploaded pictures.
Dryve may also use cookie settings to pick up on User usage data. If Users
correspond with Dryve via e-mail, Dryve may retain the content of the e-mail.
IV.
Social Media
When
Users log in or interact with us through various social media pages, Dryve may
receive information from the social network regarding your profile information
and details. Your privacy settings on the social network determines the data we
receive. Users are advised to review their privacy settings on any social
network prior to linking with Dryve.
All of the data requested by Dryve is
necessary for the performance of its Services. No superfluous or unnecessary
information will be requested or collected.
Users must ensure that the data provided by
him/her is accurate and current. Dryve bears no responsibility for inaccurate,
falsified, or outdated information provided by Users. Users have the discretion
to edit, alter, and update the information he/she have provided us.
B.
DATA
STORAGE AND USAGE
Dryve modifies, uses, shares, stores, and
processes User information for the purpose of providing and improving our
Services and to better connect with us and other Users. Identifiable
information is collected to verify and authenticate information provided on
Users and Vehicles. This enables Dryve to ensure a secure and safe experience
for all Users alike with minimum risk of fraud, accidents, harm, or illegal
activity.
Dryve may modify information provided by
Users if we believe that the data is incorrect and/or incomplete. Dryve is not
liable for any errors in data modification or any incorrect and/or incomplete
User information. It is the User’s sole responsibility to ensure that all
his/her data are correct, complete and updated.
Dryve may share User’s personal data with
other Users as is necessary for the conducting of its business and the
providing of its services.
Dryve may share User’s personal data with
relevant related service provides such as Allianz. Dryve may provide Allianz
any necessary information- including your contact information, Vehicle
information and identification, and personal identification- if such
information or data is necessary to initiate Insurance Coverage and to proceed
with Claims. By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, Users give Dryve the
right to share data with third parties.
Dryve may share Users’ data with vendors,
consultants, marketing and advertising partners, and other service providers
who need access to such data to carry out work on Dryve’s behalf or to perform
any contract we enter into with them. The data may also be shared with third
parties in connection with, or during negotiations of, sale of company assets,
a merger, consolidation, restructuring, financing, or acquisition of all or a
portion of our business by another company.
Dryve reserves the right to share data when
requested to do so by a competent authority, should such sharing be necessary
in conformity with relevant laws and regulations. This includes sharing data
with law enforcement and national security agencies in the interests of public
safety, or for an investigation into a breach or crime directly concerning
Dryve, e.g. an assault or robbery committed by a User.
Data is stored on the Cloud, subject to the
laws of the United States of America. By agreeing to let Dryve collect and
store data, Users consent to having said data be subject to the laws of that
jurisdiction. Dryve pledges that it shall take all necessary steps, such as
encryption, in accordance with the highest standards of technical quality and
diligence, to protect the data provided by its Users.
